What did you want to be when you grew up? When I was really little I used to tell everyone I was going to become a comedian. To this day I have no idea how or why that was my chosen profession but I defiantly said it with confidence. What was your first job and how old were you? My first was job was being an extra on a TV series I think I would have been around 14 at the time. Basically I was filler body in the background of a B grade teen American TV show about a summer camp. I’ve never been one for mundane even at the ripe age of 14. Surprisingly my first baby sitting gig came after this however that was a bit boring for my taste. Teanne wears the Tilmens Blazer in black What time do you wake up? I usually try to set my alarm for 6:00am if not for a Pilates class then to convince myself to do some Pilates on my living room floor. But I also don’t judge myself if I snooze through until 7:00 or 8:00. I always have the best intentions for myself the night before. What time do you start work? Every day differs. Being freelance means some days I start at 5:00 am for a shoot and others I might start at 6:00pm either when inspiration hits or samples finally arrive ! Describe your working week in three words? Sporadic, unconventional and creative Teanne wears the Dru Parker and Pike Trouser What part of the work you do makes you smile? Being on set, It’s my favourite part of the job. Executing an idea and seeing it happen in real time is so utterly satisfying. It gets me every time and it’s why I keep coming back for more. What cities has your work taken you to? Paris mostly these days but Auckland, London, New York, Normandy, and Bangkok. Tokyo is next on my list. Teanne wears the Hoppen Cardigan in sterling and Irving Trouser in slate What is your favourite project you’ve worked on? I’d like to think my next one, I’m always chasing what’s next in the hopes it will be the best thing I do. What advice would you give to your 21 year old self? Try to be patient …..I’m still telling 27 year old me this. Teanne wears the Egon Blazer and Irving Trouser in slate If you could have someone else’s job, who would it be? Miuccia Prada or Chloe Sevingy but to be honest I id be my happy with my job just as it is.
